Why I Became a Financial Planner
I have been passionate about finances and fitness my entire life. I know a lot of people share these two passions with me (I mean who doesn’t want to be in great shape and have a lot of money?!) Being a detail oriented, analytical person, I have always wanted to learn as much as possible about both of these things. With fitness, I wanted to know and understand how different workout routines and nutrition plans would change your body. With finances, I wanted to know what the impact of following a budget, having a solid investment plan, and a comprehensive financial plan would have on your wealth.
Fast forward 20+ years and I am still 100% certain that financial planning was my calling. I love what I do for all the following reasons and more:
- It is fast paced. There is never enough time in a day!
- I get to help my clients pursue their financial goals and dreams!
- I love crunching numbers, solving problems, and planning for the future!
- I get to lead by example and practice what I preach!
- I love learning about each client’s unique circumstances!
- I love the stock market!
- It’s never boring. Things are constantly changing in the world we live in!
- I get to be a part of so many of my clients’ major life events—birth of a new baby or grandbaby, graduations, weddings, career advancements, retirements, and more!
